![]() | Pollution Prevention WeekPollution Prevention Week is the third week of September each year. P2 Week 2025 is September 15-21 using the theme: "40 Years of Pollution Prevention: Honoring the Past, Protecting the Future!" This 2025 P2 Week picture was designed by Diana Henne, a recent graduate from Temple University. "As an educator, working to protect the future for the next generation is a cause dear to my heart; I chose to highlight this in the foreground of the poster with the passing from one hand to the next of the seedling to the blooming flower. With honoring the past, I was inspired by my mother’s career in pollution prevention. Some ways I chose to incorporate examples of this work in the poster were the facility switching from fossil fuel to solar energy as well as proper maintenance and disposal of chemical waste in the background of the piece." |
NPPR's workgroups coincide with EPA national emphasis areas and other issues of interest to the P2 community. The workgroups bring together P2 professionals from across the country to share ideas, information, and deliverables.
